IBM is right in tune with Smarter Companies from Intellectual Capital Advisors
I must say that I have been heartened to see IBM’s latest ad campaign on the “Smarter Planet“-since my blog (and the goal of my firm) is “Smarter Companies.”
IBM is offering great examples of ways that technology can make the planet healthier and our societies more sustainable. I try to offer ideas on how companies can leverage knowledge they already have for growth and greater performance. Ultimately a healthier planet and sustainable societies will be delivered through business. We are all in this together.

IBM’s Focus on Metrics

Business Week has a very interesting article by Stephen Baker based on his book The Numerati on the use of metrics in business. It describes how IBM is gathering and using data on its workers.
